Accessibility Statement

New Estate Only (NEO) wants everyone to be able to search for and learn about new construction homes on newestateonly.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, zoom or high-contrast settings.

Our target

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, for the public pages of newestateonly.com. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is our current accessibility target and a widely used technical benchmark. This statement does not certify compliance with the ADA, the European Accessibility Act, or any other applicable law. This statement describes a target and our ongoing work. It is not a certification and not a legal opinion, and we have not had the site audited by an independent third party.

What we do

  • We have run an automated accessibility scan (axe-core) on our main public pages in light and dark mode, on desktop and mobile sizes.
  • We fix problems the scan finds, such as missing text alternatives, unnamed buttons, form labels and low color contrast.
  • We keep pinch-zoom and browser text resizing enabled.
  • We repeat the scan after accessibility fixes to check them. It is not yet an automatic check on every release.

Known limitations

  • The interactive search map and some map pins are hard to use without a pointer. The results list shows the same homes in text form.
  • Photos, floor plans and brochures supplied by builders and agents may lack text descriptions.
  • Content inside third-party widgets and partner iframes is provided by those parties and may not meet the same standard.
  • Automated tools find only part of all possible problems, so some barriers may remain.

If something on the site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email info@newestateonly.com with the page address and a short description of the problem. You can also reach us through the contact page. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
